.. home projekte theorie art archiv candy guests the multifish fractal when working for a programming course in AutoLISP i came to know the koch curve, one of the most basic fractal shapes: an INITIATOR shape is replaced by a GENERATOR shape, which consists of several INITIATOR shapes. with the next iteration, every INITIATOR is again replaced by a GENERATOR and so on. the koch curve, also known as the koch snowflake, uses only straight lines as shapes. in the original set, a triangle becomes a snowflake after a few iterations. i played around with the program for a while and substituted the original shapes by a small sketch. i was absolutely fascinated by the result you can see below...
