The Philips Pavilion

On my last meeting with prof. koutamanis we agreed that i should start with analyzing an existing mathematically defined form to study the specific compositional rules used. based on this a mathematical model will be built of the structure that defines the form analytically with the opportunity to change parameters later and experiment.
as the building to study, i chose the philips pavilion, built for the world fair 1958 in bruxelles by le corbusier and xenakis. as the building was only temporary and was converted to rubble in january 1959, my first concern is to rebuild the structure as a cad model. this will serve as an easy-to-grasp visual aid when determining the much more difficult mathematical approach...
the other benefit of this is that as the original does not exist any more and material is scarce, it allows viewing the pavilion from every angle without the searching for an appropriate photograph.
